Elongation at break, tensile strength at break and (if necessary) elastic limit values should be in accordance with the values given in the product standard.
The cable sheath is carefully stripped at a length of approximately 500 mm without damaging the shields. A sufficient preload must be applied to compress the specimen before starting the tensile strength and elongation measurement.
