The sample will then be sealed in the tube, which will be placed in the furnace for the temperature and time specified in the product standard. At the end of this period, the tube is removed from the furnace and cooled to ambient temperature.
The sample should then be removed from the tubing and bent into a U shape with a curvature of six times the specified maximum outside diameter of the cable or core.
