With the nominal inside diameter of the sample to be tested and with the minimum radius as specified on the product, the radius is specified as five times the nominal inside diameter measured relative to the centerline of the arc. A twistable spiral-wrapped bending spring is standard. The sleeve must be applied between the two mandrels to bend the sleeve on both sides at the specified minimum bending radius.
The sleeve will be bent by means of a lever with a pivot point just above the mandrels. The applied mass shall comply with the product standard. A counter for measuring cycles with an interface between the arm and the counter.
