EN ISO 6710 Test Standard for Disposable Containers for Human Venous Blood Sample Collection

For the determination of specified metals and other specified substances, the formulation of the closure material must be such that it does not interfere with the determination there by affecting the results.

For very sensitive detections (for example, those using fluorimetry) or underused tests, interference limits may not be agreed upon. In such cases, the laboratory should set a null value and consult the manufacturer.
