Medical Packaging Tests

The Medical Pack integrity test is used to detect packaging problems that could potentially affect the sterility of a medical device.

Medical Packaging Tests

Visual Inspection

Our experts guarantee safety and sterility by visually checking the packaging to make sure seals, bags and other barrier materials are intact. We carefully inspect the packaging to make sure there are no visible tears, punctures, scratches, or other signs of defect.

Vacuum Leak Test

The vacuum leak test used to assess the integrity of the vacuum seals in the package with bubbles or head cavity uses increased water pressure to ensure that there are no leaks in the package. Our specialists will sink samples, pressurize and reduce their pressure, then perform a visual inspection for any signs of defect.

Bubble Flaw Test

Bubble leak test is used to find large leaks and other defects in seals and barriers that affect the integrity of the packaging. We immerse the samples in water and apply pressure to determine the integrity of the packaging. If any bubble is left, it is a sign that there is a defect in the packaging.

Paint Leak Test

Dye leak testing is a method used to determine whether the seals on the medical device packaging are intact. Our specialists use one of several methods to expose the packaging to a colored dye and then evaluate the results. If any dyes penetrate the seal on the sample, the packaging is considered to be defective and non-sterile.
