Agricultural Tractors Test Standard in accordance with AIS 168

AIS 168 refers to all two- or three-wheeled vehicles and quadricycles intended to travel on public roads, including those designed and built in one or more stages, and two systems, components and separate systems designed and manufactured for such vehicles. It covers the applicability of technical units and parts and equipment materials.

This standard also applies to enduro bikes, trial bikes and heavy all-terrain quads as categorized.

This standard does not apply to the following vehicles:

Vehicles whose maximum design speed is not exceeded (6 km/h);
Vehicles intended exclusively for use by the physically handicapped;
Vehicles intended exclusively for pedestrian control;
Vehicles designed exclusively for use in competition;
Vehicles designed and manufactured for use by the armed forces, civil defense, fire services, responsible forces public order and emergency medical services.
