Only the intended breakdown or intended opening of the micro gas generator will occur. The performance of the micro gas generator must be within the range of performance parameters specified by the manufacturer.
Micro gas generators are to be tested as specified in EN ISO 14451-2, 4.5. If all igniters in the micro gas generator have been successfully tested to EN ISO 14451-8, the ESD test for the micro gas generator should also be considered successful.
