VW TL 52693 TPE Mat, Standard Test for Application Conditions

Material components and parts must be physiologically safe for humans and not cause skin irritation or unpleasant odours. Products released at high temperatures should not be toxic.

Similarly, it should be kept in the 48/23 standard environment for at least 50 hours in accordance with the ISO 554 standard explosion, recovery specifications.

All tests are well performed on floor mats or mattress sections with a specific face profile in the design. If samples, eg a dumbbell for tensile strength, cannot be obtained due to a particular profile, the test is performed on flat pattern panels without a profile.
