ECE R70 Rear Signs Approval for Heavy and Long Vehicles

• M3 category vehicles (vehicles with at least four wheels, motor, nine seats including the driver, and a maximum mass exceeding 5 tons)
• N2 category vehicles (vehicles with at least four wheels, motor, used for load carrying and with a maximum mass not exceeding 12 tons)
• N3 category vehicles (vehicles with at least four wheels, motor, used for load carrying and maximum mass exceeding 12 tons)
• O1 category vehicles (non-motorized freight vehicles with less than four wheels and more than 8 meters in length)
• O2 category vehicles (non-motorized freight transport vehicles with less than four wheels, a maximum weight not exceeding 3.5 tons and a length exceeding 8 meters)
• O3 category vehicles (non-motorized freight transport vehicles with less than four wheels, a maximum weight not exceeding 10 tons and a length exceeding 8 meters)
• O4 category vehicles (non-motorized vehicles used for load carrying, with less than four wheels and a maximum weight of more than 10 tons)

Application for approval is made by the manufacturer or its authorized representative.
