FCA 9.03117-01 Self-Adhesive Labels for In-Vehicle Application

Self-adhesive labels are films that are usually formed with a backing made of plastic or aluminum or paper.

• On the front they have one or more layers of paint, which apparently determines its type, the print of the label or the colored background on which the ink of the print is deposited; such prints can also be protected with a coat of varnish or clear plastic material;
• On the back, an adhesive layer, protected by a removable non-stick liner, must be removed before use; adhesive labels can be applied with simple manual pressure.

Conventional labels should also be used on plastic. Special backed and adhesive labels should be used for polyolefin plastic (types G and G1).

Where also advantageous for polyolefin plastic, the use of conventional labels is allowed, provided that the plastic surface is treated with primer according to Spec.
