ISO 10896-7 Rough Terrain Trucks, Safety Requirements and Verification, Part 7: Standard Test for Longitudinal Load Moment Systems

This standard provides requirements in a fixed position for longitudinal load moment indication (hereafter LLMI) and longitudinal load moment control (hereinafter LLMC) used in rough terrain trucks as defined in ISO 10896-1.

Does not apply to:

  • truck mounted trucks as defined in ISO 20297-1;
  • Rotating variable access trucks as defined in ISO 10896‑2.

ISO 10896-7 does not cover the risk of lateral instability or imbalance caused by truck movement. The longitudinal load torque system is not designed to warn of the risk of tipping over while the truck is in motion. ISO 10896-7 does not apply to longitudinal load moment systems manufactured before the issue date.
