Its internal components allow automated EMC tests to automotive standards where high field strength must be generated or measured.
In combination with our three-axis Helmholtz coils, fully automatic susceptibility tests are possible at magnetic field strengths of up to 1 A/m for frequencies from DC to 1000 kHz.
Lower field strength can be produced for frequencies up to 250 kHz. Thanks to the three-axis setup of our Helmholtz coil, there is a great improvement in instrument handling as there is no need to translate an EUT during tests.
The tests and measurements are controlled by a program that will automatically adjust most parameters. For any relevant standard met by the MTS-800, limit values are already included in the software package, although any different value can be defined by a user.
