GETP 00.00 L 467 Accelerated Cyclic Corrosion Test

This specification requires an oscillating spray wand to properly disperse 0,5% solution exerting the effect of ambient chloride ions. This standard can be used to develop and characterize new corrosion products and to develop new pre-treatments and post-treatments.

GETP 00.00 L 467 Accelerated Cyclic Corrosion Test

The GETP 00.00 L 467 is designed to be carried out in a laboratory environment in a fully automated temperature and humidity corrosion test chamber equipped with:

An air conditioning unit that regulates heating and cooling and controls humidification with a high degree of repeatability and repeatability
Internal circulation system for conditioned air
An integrated overhead swing spray bar (auto-test) with 1m clearance from test specimens

The standard specifies controlled conditions for equipment and procedures to allow testing to be performed with a high degree of repeatability and reproducibility. A workday consists of a 0.5-hour wet phase of intermittent exposure to 6% solution, a 50-hour controlled climate transition phase to 70°C and 2.5% RH, and a 50-hour constant temperature and humidity phase of 15,5°C. It consists of 3 phases. and 70% RH followed by a 50 hour weekend phase requiring a constant temperature of 70°C and 48% RH. For this standard, one full cycle is one week long.

Vertical airflow over test specimens, an oscillating spray bar located 1M above the target test area, and an Ascott Atmosphere chamber for testing as a psychrometric humidity reference are required.

Among the services provided by our company, EUROLAB, within the framework of corrosion test services, there are also GETP 00.00 L 467 standard tests.
