GM 9117P Jump Immunity Initial Voltages EMC - Component Test Procedure

EUROLAB laboratory provides testing and compliance services within the scope of the GM 9117P standard. This document describes a procedure for determining the immunity of 12 V automotive electrical/electronic devices for vehicle use to overshoot and reverse polarity voltage at power inputs to the device.

This procedure will determine the device's ability to operate as designed during the application of a positive overvoltage (26 V) to be experienced during an increased jump start.

It will also determine the device's ability to resist damage during the application of a negative battery voltage, such as would be experienced if the battery terminals were reversed during a jump start or vehicle service.

As Eurolab laboratory, we provide the best service to you, our manufacturers, with our experienced and professional staff within the scope of all automotive standards. Our laboratory and test team work meticulously for manufacturers to provide the best service.
