GM 9509P Test Procedure

Select the representative sample to be evaluated. Wet a small piece of cloth with the appropriate solvent. Squeeze out excess solvent.

Using the index finger, apply 25 double rubs (double scrub creates a back and forth motion) to the sample in a 50 to 10 mm reciprocating motion. Frim pressure must be applied during friction.

The test samples will be evaluated by examining the paint residue on the painted surface and scouring cloth. Samples will be graded on a grading scale.
