GMW 14444 Standard Test for Material-Related Internal Part Performance

EUROLAB laboratory provides testing and compliance service within the scope of GMW 14444 standard. This standard may include hazardous materials, processes and equipment. This standard does not propose to address all relevant safety issues for use.

Component or material samples released in accordance with these standards will be tested for compliance with the requirements of this standard and approved by the responsible department before delivery of the parts or materials at production speed.

Any change to a part or material, such as design, function, features, manufacturing process, or place of manufacture, requires a new version of the product. It is the sole responsibility of the supplier company to provide documentation of any changes or modifications made to the product or process without being requested by the customer and to apply for a new version.

Unless otherwise agreed, all validation tests will be repeated and recorded by the supplier prior to commencing delivery of the modified product. In some cases, a shorter trial may be agreed between the responsible department and the provider.

The material chosen should support part performance for all environmental conditions defined by the climbing position of the part in the car. Materials are tested against the harshest environmental conditions (eg exposure to direct light) for installation sites. The temperature in Table 1 was measured under solar glass. If non-solar glass is used, temperatures of up to 15 degrees will be created and requirements adjusted accordingly.

Lighting properties at a component or material level are certified. Parts that meet the composite definition are determined on a comparative level.
