This standard defines terms, gives practical guidelines, and sets out the basic principles of vehicle testing used in other parts of ISO 11451. electromagnetic energy radiated independently of the vehicle propulsion system (eg spark ignition engine, diesel engine, electric motor).
The electromagnetic disturbances considered are limited to continuous narrowband electromagnetic fields. A wide frequency range (11451 MHz to 0,01 18 MHz) is allowed for immunity testing in this and other parts of ISO 000.
