GMW3172 specifies environmental/endurance requirements and analytical/development/validation (A/D/V) activities for electrical/electronic components used in a vehicle environment to ensure a lifetime of reliability.
GMW 3172 Test Procedures
Analysis, the earliest of the stages, includes component design and improvement. This phase should be used to design reliability and robustness into the component.
