EUROLAB laboratory provides testing and compliance services within the scope of the GMW 3208 standard. This test method will be used to determine the horizontal burning rate of automotive materials. The burning rate is determined immediately after exposure to a small flame for a short time. The small flame is placed in contact with one edge of the material.
This testing procedure is used for textiles, leather, plastics, etc. to support the production part's compliance with government regulations. It defines requirements, test conditions and reporting requirements for internal raw materials, including but not limited to. Aging and statistical requirements address the variability seen in some raw materials, including textiles, as well as sampling conditions defined in government regulations.
Allows individual testing of materials and parts inside the vehicle. The combination passenger compartment up to 13 mm thick covers the area up to the airspace. It can normally only be applied to materials and parts with a diameter of 13 mm.
