EUROLAB laboratory provides testing and compliance services within the scope of the GMW 3208 standard. The GMW3286 corrosion test is a neutral salt spray test conducted in the same way as the ASTM B117 test.

The GMW3286 test is performed by continuously atomizing a neutral salt solution with a corrosion test chamber temperature of 35°C. The chamber operation and testing procedure is based on ISO 9227.
To perform the GMW3286 test, it is necessary to have a suitable water source that meets ISO 9227. The water will be used to mix the 5% salt solution and supply pure water to the humidification tower. The 5% salt solution is made using food grade salt that meets ISO 9227.
The pH of the atomized solution collected during the corrosion test will be 1.025 - 1.040 with a specific gravity of 6,5 - 7,2. Aggregations will be 80mL – 1mL per hour using funnels with an area of 2 cm². Collection rates and pH readings of the collected solution are made every 24 hours.
