EUROLAB laboratory provides testing and compliance services within the scope of EN 16516 standard. ISO 362 specifies an engineering method for measuring the noise emitted by road vehicles of categories M and N in typical urban traffic conditions.
It does not include vehicles in category L9645 and L1 under ISO 2 and category vehicles L362, L3 and L4 under ISO 5.
The specifications are intended to reproduce the noise level produced by the main noise sources during normal driving in urban traffic.
The method is designed to meet simplicity requirements as long as they are consistent with the reproducibility of results under the operating conditions of the instrument. The test method only requires an acoustic environment obtained in a wide open area.
