This engineering specification addresses electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) requirements for electrical or electronic components and subsystems for Jaguar Land Rover (JLR). These requirements have been developed to ensure compliance with current and expected International regulations as well as customer satisfaction regarding the EMC of vehicle systems.

JLR EML CS Component Electromagnetic Compatibility Test Standard

JLR-EMC-CS v1.0 supersedes the EMC-CS-2010JLR specification.
JLR-EMC-CS v1.0 should be used for all new and redesigned parts with the latest Test Plan Template.

Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) developed the JLR-EMC-CS to ensure compliance with current and expected regulations and support customer satisfaction. JLR-EMC-CS is an engineering specification that meets electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) requirements for electrical and electronic components and subsystems used by Jaguar Land Rover (JLR). JLR-EMC-CS requirements affect all active electronics modules and sensors, motors, generators, solenoids and passive modules.

EUROLAB is accredited to ISO 17020 and recognized by Jaguar Land Rover to test the JLR-EMC-CS. All approval data submitted to Jaguar Land Rover by a supplier must be performed in a recognized laboratory. All logout data must be performed in strict accordance with an EMC Test Plan submitted and approved by Jaguar Land Rover before testing begins.
