TPJLR 52.155 Standard Test Method for Liquid Staining in Automotive Trim

EUROLAB, with its state-of-the-art accredited laboratories and expert team, provides precise and fast testing services within the scope of TPJLR 52.155 test. An automotive trim product is made as follows. A single or multi-layer sheet is extruded to contain at least one color pigmented or metallized layer within it. The sheet is then thermoformed into a three-dimensionally shaped preform by vacuum forming or the like.

The preform is placed in a cavity of an injection molding apparatus and heated semi-molten material is injected into it. The semi-molten material is bonded to the preform in the cavity. After spinning, the molding apparatus ejects one last piece of automotive trim. Optionally, some operations (eg cropping) can be performed after subtraction.
