SAE J2657 Tire Pressure Monitoring Test for Light Duty Road Vehicles

The purpose of TPMS is to alert drivers when the air pressure in one or more of their vehicle's tires is low, which can cause poor handling, poor fuel efficiency and increased tire wear.
