All measurements will be made and verified in certified heating cabinets or climate chambers. Otherwise, all temperature and humidity changes in the cabinets will be recorded.
The accuracy of the resistance measurement (or voltage measurement by current measurement) must be at least 10 times greater than the resistances measured in the units tested.
However, if testing on contacts whose contact normal force is produced by 2 different materials (possibly of different conductivity), voltage cascading should be performed on the side formed by the contact body (normally more conductive material). On the other hand, the injected current will not only be measured and monitored in this case, but also the voltage of the current source will be recorded to detect whether the current source is at the limit of its capacity.
