Porsche PLB Service Description - Individual Part - Customer Requirements

EUROLAB, together with its state-of-the-art accredited laboratories and expert team, provides precise and fast testing services within the scope of Porsche PLB testing. The separation between the air filter and the ATL takes place by means of a bellows. This ensures that no deformation or damage occurs during operation of the vehicle and that forces are reduced.

Materials for all components will be defined by the supplier. With different material pairings (to air filter or ATL), neither leakage problems nor critical stresses due to different thermal expansions should occur.

The supplier's scope of service includes the development, production and component testing of various versions in accordance with technical PAG requirements, adhering to agreed costs, deadlines and quality.

PAG proposals are expected to be rapidly incorporated as development progresses. To achieve process objectives, drafts' own ideas and evaluation should be proposed.

All changes should be tracked on a detailed zero-line basis according to the bid status. Changes in costs must be approved as part of Porsche change management and documented using the part cost history.

In addition, the supplier is obliged to cooperate in finding and resolving problems if problems arising from its components occur in the entire system or in the component itself. This also includes the free provision of specific parts and variants of the component that help find the problem.

Durability studies that need to be repeated due to these problems are provided by the supplier with free parts. If additional endurance runs are required due to improper development, these will be borne by the supplier.

Package specifications and component dimensions must be adhered to, any deviations must be coordinated with PAG component development in advance. The component must be manually assembleable. Assembly workers are also recruited from production. Damage to the sealing geometry
may not be visible.

The scope of delivery must be designed so that no special equipment, mounting fixtures or special tools are required for assembly or disassembly. If this requirement cannot be met for technical reasons, the scope of delivery and the relevant mounting points within the scope of delivery must be coordinated and approved with the assembly planning and relevant equipment suppliers.

Before delivery, the scope of delivery must be checked for dimensional accuracy on all pre-series. Relevant measurement reports must be attached to the parts and sent electronically to Porsche on request. 118 out of 56 Component protection must be approved by Porsche.
