Unless otherwise stated, all dimensions declared in this method are nominal.

The number of samples required is one, but iterations are desirable. Typical dimensions of the sample: 50 mm X 75 mm, 75 mm X 100 mm, 75 mm X 150 mm (most standard sizes), 100 mm X 150 mm. The SAE J2020 test is initiated by the condensation cycle and samples are examined weekly during the condensation cycle to ensure the presence of condensation.
