EUROLAB laboratory provides testing and compliance service within the scope of MIL W 22759E standard. This specification covers single-conductor electrical wires made of fluoropolymer insulated, tin-plated, silver-plated or nickel-plated conductors.
Copper or copper alloy as specified in the applicable specification sheet. The fluoropolymer insulation of these wires may be polytetrafluoroethylene (TFE), fluorinated ethylene propylene (FEP), polyvinylidene fluoride (PVF 2 ), ethylene-tetrafluoroethylene copolymer (ETFE), or other fluoropolymer resin.
The fluoropolymer can be used alone or in combination with other insulation materials. Wires are as described in the current specification sheet and identified by the specification sheet number and title.
The wires feature thin-walled extruded ETFE insulation for aerospace and other applications that require light weight, tight diameter tolerances, and enhanced mechanical durability.
ETFE insulation also provides exceptional resistance to radiation and chemicals. The wires feature extruded PTFE insulation and high-strength copper alloy conductor for increased breaking strength. They are ideal for aerospace and other applications that require high reliability and breaking strength, increased flexible life and resistance to high temperatures.
