Alcohol Free Tests

Non-alcoholic (non-alcoholic) or low-alcohol beverages have been the first choice for many people in recent years when it comes to drinking. People choose lower alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverages for a variety of reasons, including health reasons, low calorie content, and social reasons.

Alcohol Free Tests

Not all alcoholic beverages are the same. It varies greatly depending on how much pure alcohol is in them. Stronger alcoholic beverages contain more pure alcohol than weaker ones. This is indicated by the percentage of alcohol by volume. For example, a non-alcoholic beverage or product generally has an alcohol percentage by volume of at most 0,05 percent. The percent alcohol by volume of a low alcohol beverage or product is between 0,05 and 1,2 percent.

However, alcohol-free products have also been preferred in the field of cosmetics. If a product is labeled alcohol-free, it does not contain ethyl alcohol, according to the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). However, a glance at the ingredient list reveals that this product contains fatty alcohols such as cetyl, stearyl, cetearyl or lanolin alcohol. But these are a completely different category.

Fatty alcohols include cetyl, stearyl and cetearyl alcohol derived from oils. Fatty alcohols are often used as thickeners and emulsifiers in cleansing lotions and moisturizers. These are non-irritating and can be beneficial. Fatty alcohols have the ability to trap moisture in the skin and create a protective barrier that water cannot penetrate.

In fact, alcohol has beneficial benefits such as helping ingredients penetrate the skin, protecting the product and making it feel light when applied.

In short, alcohol found in cosmetics can cause dehydrated skin and damage. For this reason, it generally gives up the use of alcohol in products. Instead, completely nourishing and skin-loving ingredients are used.

Many different compounds make up the group known as alcohols, and different alcohols have different properties. Some dry out while others can help lock in moisture. So not all alcohols are the same.
