The dimensional requirements specified in the standard comply with ISO 3394 to ensure full use of the interior space of transport packages.
The pegboard slot allows the unit packaging to be attached to a pegboard display unit that hangs on the wall on a hook. Dimensions apply to surfaces parallel to the drilled slot. All measurements are expressed in mm.
Slit hole packs can be exposed in single pin holders as well as double pin holders, but round hole packs will not open on double pin holders, which is the preferred type for safety.
