This test method involves performing the test using inch-pounds or SI units. Values stated in SI units or inch-pound units should be considered separately as standard. In the text, SI units are shown in parentheses. Values specified in each system may not be exactly equivalent; therefore, each system should be used independently of the other. Combining values from the two systems may result in non-compliance with the standard.
Values in SI units will be obtained by measuring in SI units or by appropriate conversion of measurements in other units using the Conversion and Rounding Rules provided in IEEE/ASTM SI-10.
