ASTM C346 Standard Test Method for 45 Degree Mirror Gloss of Ceramic Materials

Enhanced correlations with visual judgments can sometimes be obtained by using tools with geometries different from those specified here. See Test Method D20 for 60, 85, and 523 degree geometries. Values ​​often cannot be predicted from measurements for one geometry with another.
