ASTM D6862 Test for 90 Degree Peel Resistance of Adhesives

For this reason, the thickness of the adhesives used in the construction of the test samples will be specified in the material specification. When thickness is not specified, flexible bond will be 0,60 mm (0,025 inch) thick and rigid bond will be 1,60 mm (0,060 inch) thick.

A heavy fabric such as canvas was used as the flexible adhesive.
