ASTM B680 Standard Test Method for Sealing Quality of Anodic Coatings on Aluminum by Acid Dissolution

This test method cannot be applied to:

• Hard coatings that are not normally sealed;
• Anodic coatings sealed in dichromate solutions only;
• Anodic coatings that have undergone a treatment to render them hydrophobic.
