When values are stated in both SI and inch-pound units, the units will be considered standard separately. The values specified in each system may not be exactly equivalent; therefore, use each system independently of the other. A few values are specified as a rule and only in SI units to allow comparison of results. Includes corrosive media weight (grams), sample weight (grams), sample weight loss due to abrasion (grams) and resulting volume loss (cubic centimeters).
