ASTM C1274 Test for Enhanced Ceramic Specific Surface Area by Physical Adsorption

Values ​​stated in SI units should be accepted as standard. Specify all numerical values ​​in SI units, unless specific instrumentation software reports surface area using alternative units. In this case, provide both reported and equivalent SI units in the final written report. It is widely accepted to report the (specific) surface area of ​​solids in m 2 /g, and as customary (in physical adsorption and related fields) and as a convention many tools (as well as certificates of reference material) report the surface area in SI units (m 2 kg m 1 g –2 instead of –1 ).
