ASTM D2688 Standard Test Methods for Corrosivity of Water Without Heat Transfer (Weight Loss Method)

The test method uses flat, rectangular metal coupons that are mounted on pipe plugs and exposed to running water in metal pipes in municipal, building, and industrial water systems using a side stream corrosion sample rack.
