An interlaboratory study to determine the precision of this test method involved a water-reducible exterior latex paint and three automotive coatings containing a solvent-reducible primer surface primer, a water-reducible primer surface primer, a water-reducible enamel topcoat, and an acrylic dispersion lacquer topcoat. Previous collaborations have included a gloss enamel, a flat wall paint, a gloss household enamel, an industrial baking enamel, an interior latex paint, and an exterior latex paint.
