EUROLAB laboratory provides testing and compliance services within the scope of ASTM D3167 standard. This test method covers the determination of the relative peel strength of adhesive bonds between a rigid adhesive and a flexible adhesive when tested under specific preparation and test conditions.
A change in the thickness of the adhereds will often affect the test values. For this reason, the thickness of the plates used in the construction of the test samples will be specified in the material specification. When no thickness is specified, flexible bond will be 0,63 mm (0,025 inch) thick and rigid bond will be 1,63 mm (0,064 inch) thick.
