EUROLAB laboratory provides testing and compliance services within the scope of ASTM D3829 standard. This test method covers the estimation of the boundary pumping temperature (BPT) of engine oils using a 0 hour refrigeration cycle in the 40°C to -16°C temperature range.
Accuracy is specified for temperatures from –34 °C to –15 °C. Applicability to petroleum products other than motor oils has not been determined.
