EUROLAB laboratory provides testing and compliance services within the scope of ASTM D4049 standard. This test method covers the ability of a grease to adhere to a metal surface when exposed to water spray under prescribed laboratory conditions.
A steel panel is coated with a thin layer of grease to be tested. A 5 psi water spray is directed at the grease coated panel for 40 minutes. The amount of grease lost in the water spray is reported as the spray percentage.
