EUROLAB laboratory provides testing and compliance services within the scope of ASTM D5155 standard. These test methods are used to measure the isocyanate content of aromatic isocyanates used as polyurethane raw materials.
Test Method A: Determines the toluene diisocyanate content, amine equivalent, and isocyanate content of unheated toluene-dibutylamine, refined toluene-2,4-diisocyanate and toluene-2,6-diisocyanate, or mixtures of the two. Other isomers, if any, will be included in the determination. This test method can also be applied to other isocyanates with suitable reactivity and solubility.
Test Method B: Determines the amine equivalent and isocyanate content of raw or modified isocyanates derived from heated toluene-dibutylamine, toluene diisocyanate, methylene di-(4-phenylisocyanate), and polymer (methylene phenylisocyanate).
Test Method C: Determines the amine equivalent and isocyanate content of crude or modified isocyanates derived from unheated trichlorobenzene-toluene-dibutylamine, toluene diisocyanate, methylene-di-(4-phenylisocyanate) and polymer (methylene phenylisocyanate).
Values stated in SI units should be accepted as standard. No other units of measurement are included in this standard.
