ASTM D2105 Test for Longitudinal Tensile Properties of Pipe and Tube

Both glass fiber reinforced thermosetting resin pipe (RTRP) and glass fiber reinforced polymer mortar pipe (RPMP) are glass fiber pipes.

For the purposes of this standard, the polymer does not include the natural polymer.

This test method is generally limited to pipe diameters of 6 inches (150 mm) or less. Larger sizes can be tested if the necessary apparatus is available.
