The tube will be manufactured from flat rolled alloy by an automatic welding process without additional filler metal. The tube should be laid deoxidized. The material will consist of carbon, manganese, silicon, phosphorus, sulfur, chromium, nickel, molybdenum, nitrogen, iron and copper.

The material will also be subject to tensile, straightening, flange, reverse bending and non-destructive testing requirements. A reverse bend test cannot be performed for a given wall size based on the outer pipe diameter. Non-destructive testing includes pressure testing or electrical testing. The test results should not show any evidence of cracking or defects.
Pipe sizes covered by this specification range from 1/8 to 5 inches (3,2 to 127 mm) in outside diameter and 0,015 to 0,320 inches (0,38 to 8,13 mm) in wall thickness.
