Test for Retroreflective Coating Using ASTM D810 Co-planar Geometry

The user of this test method should specify the entry and observation angles and rotation angles to be used.

This test method is designed as a laboratory test and requires a facility that can be sufficiently dimmed so that stray light does not affect test results. The tester must be able to obtain coplanar geometry.

Portable and desktop retroreflective measuring equipment can be used to determine RA values, provided the geometry measured according to this test method and appropriate substitute standard reference panels are used.
