This test method is not intended for use with surgical hand rub (test method E1115) or preoperative skin preparations (test method E1173).
Performing this procedure requires knowledge of the regulations regarding human experimentation. The testing method should be performed by persons trained in microbiology in facilities designed and equipped to work with infectious agents at a biosafety level.
