It can be used to measure the durability of adhesive joints exposed outdoors or the environmental conditions to which adhesive joints are exposed in service. The durability performances of various adhesives can be compared using this application under uniform conditions. To evaluate the overall durability of a particular adhesive, peel joints should be tested under a range of stresses, relative humidity and temperature. For a given end use it may be possible to obtain the required durability data using only a set of test conditions.
