EN 1466 Child Use and Care Supplies - Carrycots and Stands Safety Requirements and Test Methods

Hereinafter, in this European Standard these products are referred to as "carrycots" and include all types of carrycots with hard or soft edges, as well as mussa baskets and similar products. Other functions of the product shall comply with the relevant European standards. This European standard has not taken into account the needs of children with special needs.

The carrycot should be tested when assembled for normal use according to the manufacturer's instructions. Other functions of the product shall comply with the relevant European standards.

Any fabric intended to be washed-cleaned should be washed-cleaned and dried twice according to the manufacturer's instructions. Any resulting shrinkage will not prevent fabric reattachment without damaging the fabric's seams or impairing the performance of the carrycot.
