Castings conforming to this standard will be produced by vacuum investment casting. Castings covered by this standard will be in the annealed and hot isostatically pressed condition. Product castings shall comply with prescribed requirements.
Material supplied under this standard shall comply with specified mechanical property requirements. Chemical analysis, product analysis, tension tests, fluorescent penetrant inspection and radiographic inspection will be performed to meet the specified requirements.
