ASTM F136 Forged Titanium, 6Aluminum, 4Vanadium ELI (Extra Low Passage) Standard Test for Surgical Implant Applications

Products are classified into: strip, plate, bar, forged bar and wire. Heat analysis shall conform to specified chemical composition requirements. Product analysis tolerances do not expand the specified heat analysis requirements, but cover differences between laboratories in the measurement of chemical content. Tensile test and bending test will be performed to meet the specified requirements.
